The ranks displayed below are ranks that a Wolf (IC) or Member (OOC) could hold on our site. These ranks are very important to the site, and it is required that you know all of the ranks, especially when creating a new character for a pack.
In-Character Ranks
. : SUPERIOR RANKS : .
ALPHA - The leaders of the pack and the ones that control what the pack does. There can only be two Alphas leading in a pack (male and female).
BETA - The second leaders of the pack and the Alpha's right-hand wolf. These wolves take care of the pack and there can only be two Betas active in one pack.
GAMMA - The third leaders of the pack and the left-hand wolves of the Alpha. Although Gammas don't receive as much work as the Beta does, they are still important to pack hierarchy. There can only be one Gamma at one time.
GUARDIAN - The protectors of the Alphas and their offspring. An Elite's one goal is to protect the Alpha, so Elites are chosen by strength and intelligence. There can only be two Elites active in one pack.
ELDER - The wisest wolves of the pack (and sometimes old Alphas). Elders pass on their knowledge of the world to the next generations of the pack. Elders must be at least 6 years of age. There can be as many Elders in a pack as pack members.

DELTA - The lead warriors in a pack. Deltas lead the rest of the warriors into battle and take on daily shifts to keep the pack secure. There can only be two of these (male and female).
LEAD HUNTER - The lead hunters of the pack. Lead Hunters are talented in hunting and can hunt down just about anything. They keep the food stock high and are appreciated within the pack. There can only be two of these (male and female).
SHAMAN - The lead healer of the pack. Shamans are respected by the youngest to eldest of wolves due to their amazing ability to heal almost anything. Shamans know every herb and every location, and they've also been known to be quite skillful on detecting when herbs have gone bad. There can only be two of these (male and female).
LEAD PUPSITTER - The lead pupsitter of the pack. This wolf is known to have a great kindness for pups and are great at taking care of them while their parents are away. The Lead Pupsitter is given a trust that not every pupsitter has though. They are trusted to take care of the Alpha/Beta's pups. There can only be one of these.
. : SUBORDINATE RANKS : .
WARRIOR - The warriors are the fighters of the pack. They are lead by two Deltas and they have been known to be excellent fighters. They defend pack territories and do numerous jobs around the pack. Many wolves can have this rank.
HUNTER - Hunters hunt food for the pack. They are great at tracking/hunting down prey and are the things that keep the food stock high, along with their two Lead Hunters. Many wolves can have this rank.
HEALER - Healers are known to be talented when it comes to healing injured pack members. They are good at finding herbs too. Many wolves can have this rank.
PUPSITTER - These wolves are really kind and can handle the trouble that pups bring. Many wolves have this rank.
APPRENTICE - Apprentices are wolves that are at least 1 year and are no longer considered pups. They choose a rank (Warrior, Hunter, Healer, Pupsitter) and choose a mentor out of the 4 ranks. They will then be trained by their mentors until they are good enough to do without one. Many wolves can have this rank.

PUP - Pups are the lively young ones of the pack. Many wolves can have this rank.
OMEGA - The lowest rank of the pack. One wolf can have this rank.

LONER - A wolf that is not a part of the Ankhyros Pack or any. They roam the neutral lands of Oriole.
EXILE/ROGUE - A wolf that has found its way on the bad side of the Ankhyros Pack or any. They are usually bad news, bringing trouble wherever they roam. A rogue can be any wolf. An exile is a wolf that belonged to a pack but was banished due to great crimes or whatever reason.
